My husband and I are using this product to improve our balance and strengthen our feet and ankles, which in turn keeps knees and hips stable and strong. Love the videos of Bosu Ball workouts that are easy to access on YouTube or their website. It's a really enjoyable way to switch up my training sessions. I really like how quick and easy it is to pump up the Bosu. The quality of the workmanship and materials is very good as well. The one thing I'm not pleased with is the lack of a tool to remove the plug to deflate the ball. You'd think for the price that it would be included.Yes, there are cheaper, but they are not better. Just like I remember it from going to the gym before the pandemic. Excellent quality. Love the things I can do with it for both upper and lower body. Transports easily and pumps easily.Exceeded my expectations. It can be used for so many exercises. Nicely made and from USA which is a plus!!!If you are like me and are debating between a Bosu balance trainer that you have used at the gym for years and aren't going to the gym right now or a no name generic look alike balance trainer because it is cheaper and how can it be that much different, may I save you the work of a return and just really consider purchasing the Bosu Ball. They are very different. There is no comparison. The BOSU wins, hands down.My experience:I have used the BOSU pro balance trainer for a couple years at the gym. My main thing is building balance. Since I am not going to the gym right now, I wanted a balance ball trainer for home. I looked at the price of The Bosu ball and then the price of the no names. Some of the no names are over 1/2 of the price less than the Bosu. Many of them have great reviews. I chose one that around $85. It had great reviews. I received it. Set it up. Tried it out. I said a bad word because right out of the box freshly pumped with air, I could tell the difference just standing on it with my two feet. My feet were curving out with the curve of the ball. I tried letting air out. I tried refilling it. I measured it from the ground up to make sure I was filling correctly. It didn't matter, there was this new found pressure on the ankles, feet and low calves/shins.Standing on the BOSU trainer feels extremely different than the no name one. On the Bosu trainer, my feet don't curve out. When I stand on it, I feel with the BOSU I am able to correct my posture whereas the other one I was fighting to keep my ankles from turning out.The feel of the material is very different on the BOSU trainer vs. the no name. The no name felt very stiff under my feet. The no name felt like it had to be broken in before it could be effective. Kind of like a new pairs of shoes. The BOSU the material is strong and flexible. Feels good on the feet.Picking up the BOSU is easy. It is made to be easily picked up off the floor. The no name one was a struggle to move because you had to find the little metal piece that was about a finger length wide to pick up.The surface size makes a difference. The BOSU pro is over an 1 inch bigger in diameter. I didn't think this would make difference until I tried doing exercises on the no name brand. I couldn't find my grip and there just didn't seem to be enough surface area. All in all, when I received my BOSU trainer today, I took it out of the box. Filled it within minutes. (the no name took me forever. I thought there was a hole or it was broken.) Stood on it. The let out a big sigh of relief and satisfaction. Having used a BOSU ball for the last couple years, I now understand that there is not another balance trainer that would equate to it.My husband is a Guillain Barre survivor and this balance tool has changed his life. We both play golf at a professional level and would not be happy without this wonderful tool. Don’t question this purchase if you want to improve your overall balance and confidence! So excited to use this with my daily workouts! Sturdy and always offers a challenge.I purchased with the idea of using it at my new standing desk. It's perfect and for so much more. The quality is top notch. I've compared it to some in the gym in my condo building. This is much higher quality. Easy to inflate and store. I'm very satisfied with it!I'm still in denial about it, but I'm getting old and losing balance. I had never considered a "yoga" ball until I saw a lady doing a workout on a Bosu Ball at LA Fitness. I did not realize how bad my balance was until I attempted to copy some of her moves. Gravity sucks; it's a good thing I can still take some tumbles. My neighbor is a Super Bowl Ring-wearing former NFL and CFL coach with whom I share occasional walks and rides. I figured he'd be the right guy to ask about Bosu Balls for balance. Good call. He had a dusty, flat Bosu Ball sitting in his garage that he said I could use. It cleaned up nicely and became a part of my daily regimen. The Bosu Ball alone can provide a good workout; and, I can tell the difference in my balance. Helping to keep those neurons and muscles working. While working with the loaner Bosu Ball, my daughter had a baby. She started using the Bosu Ball as part of her recovery routine. I've also incorporated the Bosu Ball into my baby workout routine. Like, Bosu Ball Baby situps. Cradle the baby in your arms while you do your Bosu Ball situps. Baby loves it; wears out Grandpa. I think there's a training video in there somewhere; maybe we'll see you on YouTube ;).Meanwhile, my friend started to develop problems in his lower back and is trying to avoid surgery. I mentioned to him that the BOSU Ball provides good support for stretching my back; so, maybe it was time I return his Bosu Ball and buy my own. With a new purpose, he's a new convert to his old Bosu Ball.At home, my Bosu Ball Pro Balance Trainer arrived today, is pumped, and has already wore me out.A negative: Bosu charges for and passes the cost of printing and burning training materials to the customer. The Bosu Ball came with instructions on how to pump up the Bosu Ball. If you want training resources, you will have to register on the Bosu website, buy and download the training resources, and print or burn them yourself. I found a small crumpled piece of paper in the box that had a coupon code in 8 point type that I could use to download digital files for training DVDs, a 120-page training guide, and two wall posters. As much as I appreciate the digital downloads, I'm disappointed that the product comes with neither a printed training guide nor a training DVD. I paid a premium price for a premium product, and the company is passing the cost of printing and burning to me. For those who do not receive or cannot locate the coupon code buried in the box, Bosu charges $20 to $25 for each media item you want, and you'll still have to print and burn them on your own.Regardless of the disappointing follow-through, the product itself deserves five stars.Great for all round fitness, especially core workDisappointed with state of item delivered. Ball deflated but not in a bag, a little dusty, probably because rubber attracts dust which is why it should be in a bag I would assume. I suspect this was a return and thrown in the box again. It’s difficult to pump it up, don’t know why they don’t include a simple compressor, bicycle style adaptable tip. On Amazon its says "Bosu Pro Balance Trainer, Light Grey Clamp And Platform, Foot Pump, Integrated Balance Training Manual And Dvd, Owner's Manual" All that was in the box was the Bosu and a hand pump not foot pump. Nothing else. I would’ve rated it better but considering the money I’m disappointed and probably going back.Product seems legit, but I can’t help but feel this is an open-box-clearance- grey-market sold at retail pricing type deal. Unboxing experience was equivalent to Facebook marketplace.Product inflated easily but I had to spend $10 to get replacement plugs because one wasn’t included. That said the weight is good and for balance work it’s very sturdy. The Good:- Heavy. Good weight to avoid slipping- Rubber base ring, sticks to workout mats (not hardwood)- Rubber has a satisfying texture and doesn’t smell like a chemical refinery- The base ring is solidThe Bad:- Tossed in the box with little care, missing a plug- Terrible “unboxing” experience for a premium product- Double your warranty - only if you leave a positive review. Why not just offer a good warranty? In conclusion, seems like a great product. The purchase experience is severely lacking.bosu came damaged. I can't figure out how to contact the seller to give feedback. Hoping that someone will please reach out.The product is good quality, it works great. However I don't enjoy seeing the giant dent for the price that I paid. it seems that it was damaged during shipping as both dents are on the same side of the ball. Inability to contact the seller is very annoying. I don't have the box to send it back, otherwise it would be at the post office already shipped back for an exchange.Expected to see a poster & manual, even if Bosu forgot to include DVD, replaced with a QR code. Not sure if it is repackaged return item. For this price level, it is expected the product to ship in complete. Material quality/design of provided plugs for Bosu Pro is subpar for this price level. I thinks this relates to complains for air leakage, which is a separate issue.Top vinyl has two separate fork size scrapes, deeper than a scratch, not sure if it manufacturing issue or mishandling or misuse issue. concerned over implications when it is inflated.Bosu wasn't even put in clear plastic. was returned item being shipped as new? not sure?
